Open rooftop vent pipes are an open invitation for trouble. Rooftop plumbing vents can be a big temptation for curious squirrels and for wasps looking for the perfect place to build their nests. Leaves, nuts, twigs and needles from overhanging trees can also enter open plumbing vents. These items can cause the blockage of the vent lines or the attached sewage lines, resulting in costly plumbing repairs.

The ProVent™ product line (patent pending) does not affect the airflow of the vent, and protects plumbing systems from these potential problems. The product can be installed in seconds without tools or glue in PVC, black pipe and cast iron plumbing vents.
